**Role**: Technical Support Officer

**Reporting To**: Business Systems Manager

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**
- The role will support operational & technical teams in their day-to-day tasks and also support the development & implementation of business system enhancements and upgrades.
- The role will utilise a range of IT systems to fulfil related administration and job processing functions with regular interaction with operatives and operational managers across the service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- As Technical Support Officer your primary responsibilities will be to:

- Provide 1st line technical support to staff and escalate to specialist teams if required.
- Be responsible for the daily maintenance and reliability of the mobile handheld devices used by the operatives.
- Manually input job statuses in case where the business systems interfaces are not functioning.
- Promote good ICT practices throughout the business.
- Act as a super user for business systems and assist in training of staff as required.
- Be responsible for regular maintenance, accuracy and integrity of all business systems
- Work with the team on systems development and implementation of other ICT projects to deliver the service improvement and efficiency.
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the Business Systems Manager.
