**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN ASSISTANT AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL BLACKPOOL**
- What you'll be doing..._

Reporting to the Head Chef, you can expect your working day to include the following:

- Assisting the kitchen brigade in food prep (this could be preparing vegetables, peeling slicing).
- Accepting food deliveries (storing and stacking chilled/frozen goods and dry food items).
- Washing up during service (this could include pot-washing, and using dishwashers).
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and work areas.
