Job Duties:
Would you like to work with hospital colleagues to ensure that people with learning disabilities get the reasonable adjustments required when admitted into general hospital? This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Band 5 Acute Liaison Nurse alongsideteam colleagues to support the delivery of high quality care to people with learning disabilities. You will need to be adaptable and creative in educating hospital colleagues through formal and informal methods to enable them to achieve best outcomes throughreasonable adjustments for patients with learning disabilities.

Applicants must show a willingness to embrace the challenges of acute liaison nursing and be able to demonstrate transferrable skills and experience in working with people with learning disabilities. You must be registered as a Nurse with a valid NMC registrationand if not a learning disability nurse then be able to show experience in working with people with a learning disability. You will receive £1000 Welcome Payment on completing your probation and be able to access HCC rewards scheme.
