Changing Fertility Care for Generations to Come
At CooperSurgical we are currently looking to recruit a **Global Equipment Training Specialist **for our newly established technical training centre in UK. You will be part of a small dynamic international product training and development team, and report to Global Equipment Training Manager.
**Position**
In the role as **Global Equipment Training specialist**, you will be responsible for designing, creating, developing, and delivering technical equipment training (Installation, Servicing & Repair) using various learning methodologies. You have a great passion for utilising blended learning techniques to drive efficient and effective training. You are an experienced trainer and facilitator with strong communication skills, excellent presentation techniques, and strong interpersonal skills to influence and drive learning at all levels. To become a success in this role you will drive the end-to-end training and development of global learners for the CooperSurgical fertility equipment portfolio.
You will be working across various departments, collaborating with stakeholders worldwide. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in ensuring a world-class experience for our internal stakeholders (Primarily Field Service Engineers) and our distributors. Through your process-oriented mindset and systematic approach, you will add value to the CooperSurgical technical training set-up. Furthermore, you thrive in a dynamic international context and are willing to walk the extra mile, when needed.
Travelling is required in this role but is primarily based on-site in Crawley.
**Your key responsibilities**
- Develop, create, and deliver technical equipment training, including digital E-learning materials, hand-outs, tests, and testing methodology, live trainer-led webinars, and crucially, in-person, to Field service engineers, hands-on with the actual equipment. Training will be across a wide range of IVF equipment covering Installation, Servicing and Repairs down to component level and to clinically acceptable standards.
- Manage learner training and skills development, to maximise their full potential
- Provide feedback into the design, and product management teams, on any relevant information discovered during training. Failures, improvements, and anything else that may be useful for product improvements
- Maintain the training equipment and training space to ensure all is suitable to deliver training as and when required
**Your Qualifications**
- Experience in delivering hands-on, In-person training - Essential
- Qualification relevant to engineering or medical devices - Highly desirable
- Experience in delivering hands-on engineering training - Highly desirable
- Proven track record of working with E-learning platforms and blended learning - Highly Desirable
- Digital content creation experience - Beneficial but not essential
- Software coding experience - Beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- You must be a good team player who is energetic, creative, resourceful, and responsible
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory
