**A Corporate Property Officer is required who will be accountable to the Valuation and Estates Manager and responsible for**:

- **Management of the corporate and HRA commercial property including all forms of leases, e.g. market and peppercorn (including schools, community centres, retail, industrial and office premises)**:

- **Valuations for all purposes including the annual Asset Valuation of all property and interests and periodic valuations to maintain and support the Asset Review Model**:

- **Acquisition or disposal or lease / licence of property either managed in-house or via external agents**:

- **Ensuring all valuation work complies with Financial procedures and policies, financial regulations and the RICS Red Book**

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Extensive Corporate property officer experience
- Knowledge of lease management
- Knowledge of Local Authority policies and procedures
- Experience of carrying out valuations of properties
- Knowledge of financial procedures and policies
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Knowledge of RICS Red Book
- ICT Skills: Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite)
