Highly regarded real estate investment manager is looking for a Corporate / Funds Counsel on a long term mat cover contract commencing from May through to at least July 2025. Mayfair based, 4 days/week in the office required.Reporting to the General Counsel with regular interaction with the executive team and Board, you will be an integral part of a small, busy legal team responsible for:Fund related legal support including drafting relevant documentation, DD requests, assisting on fund raising activities and fund vehicle formationDrafting and negotiating intra-group loan and third party facility agreements, engagement lettersGeneral commercial contract drafting and reviewAdvising on IP, employment and disputesSupporting the General Counsel on best practice governance and compliance mattersWorking closely with internal stakeholders across the business to deliver company strategy and objectivesInstructing and maintaining relationships with external counselYou will be 4+ years PQE as a guide with experience gained in private practice in a funds and/or corporate team ideally coupled with time spent in-house in a similar role. You will bring a hands-on, proactive approach and enjoy working collaboratively in a team based environment. Experience working on real estate funds would be advantageous.Australian/NZ lawyers are encouraged to apply.
