**Position: Regional Account Manager - Builders Merchants**

**Salary: up to £40,000 plus bonus, company car/car allowance**

Our client is the global leader in its range of products.

An opportunity has arisen for the position of a Regional Account Manager to manage builders merchant accounts in the South/South West of England and ideally located along the M4 corridor. This is an immediate vacancy: - **Key Responsibilities will include: -**
- Account Managing merchants in the Region
- Implementing agreed national merchants plans in the Region
- Updating account records and market share data.
- Monitoring and reporting on merchant stock and competitor information.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key wholesalers
- Carrying out regular training seminars with wholesalers
- Ensuring merchandising is performed correctly in the wholesalers’ branches
- Proven track record in key account management dealing with builders’ merchants
- Ability to be flexible & multi-task
- An ability to deliver effective relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of organizational strategies & techniques
- Results orientated and an ambitious attitude
- Experience in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel frequently
