Are you a Purchasing Manager from a finished goods background looking for a varied, dynamic role where you will be play vital role in the company's future, developing your own processes and systems?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well
- established Specialist Tools and Equipment Superstore company with over 430 employees UK wide.
The role will involve leading a department of buyers and assistance to ensure new product is purchased, and stock is managed. You will negotiate with suppliers and be accountable for cost, quality, reliability, and delivery of products sourced. You will createKPI's to best manage your team.
This role would suit a Purchasing manager with experience sourcing finished goods from Asia looking for a varied role, where you will have freedom to run the department how you see fit
THE ROLE
- Manage the purchasing team including inventory and stock control.
- Identify prospective purchasing requirements within the business, source new suppliers, negotiate pricing with new and existing suppliers, negotiate payment and delivery terms.
- Develop KPI's
