**Bids and Proposals Assistant - Professional Services - near Heathrow - Egham / Hybrid Working - £25k - 30k plus superb benefits - Great Entry Level Opportunity**

Our client is looking for a**Bids and Proposals Assistant**to support the business growth and the business development activity of the firm, specifically the proposal process. The role will be based at their**Surrey**(Egham)**office**withoccasional visits to other offices.

**What’s on offer?**

Our client is offering a competitive salary of £25K - £30K (dependent on experience) & benefits scheme. Hybrid working is available with 3 days per week based in the office and 2 days working from home.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- **Bid design**:

- understanding, writing, editing and formatting proposals and presentation decks
- **Bid approach**:

- working with the Senior BD Manager, helping to drive the tender approach and ensuring best practice for proposals. Supporting project management of proposals from receipt of the RFP (request for proposal) through to submission
- **Research**:

- researching website enquiries, new opportunities and identification of potential targets
- **Reporting -**developing effective reporting from the CRM system and preparing dashboard reports. Analysing data across different systems including understanding and reporting on ROI
- **BD initiatives**:

- supporting the Senior BD Manager with firmwide initiatives such as key account management, sector research and pipeline development
- **BD credentials**:

- gaining responsibility for development and maintenance of the testimonial and case study library and the proposal matrix

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience in a B2B environment
- Previous knowledge of marketing/business development and/or professional services experience is highly beneficial
- CIM qualification or Marketing degree preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in copywriting is advantageous
- Excellent proofreading ability and sound understanding of English language including punctuation and grammar
- A keen interest in data
- Desire to learn and develop
