Quality Assurance Controller

A world class, global manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Assurance Controller to work at their modern manufacturing site in North Nottingham.
As the Quality Assurance Controller you will work on a Monday to Friday days shift and bring your quality experience and knowledge to ensure that all production activities within the various departments are compliant to the company standards, are maintainedand in control. You will also use your CI / Lean skills to identify and manage process improvements where applicable using appropriate CI tools.
There is also the potential to continue your personal development and career over the next few years and possibility into quality management roles.

- c£37k salary
- Monday to Friday days only
**Key responsibilities ofQuality Assurance Controller**
- KPI management for daily, weekly and monthly stats.
- Monitor and enforce H&S standards / procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
- Promote company QS and methodologies for 5S, SMED, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis and TPM etc.
- Support QSM with conducting internal audits against BRC & ISO standards.
- Identify corrective actions and communicate results to the management team.
- Conduct hygiene audits.
- Support management with external audits of suppliers and warehouse operations.
- Assist on customer visits.
- Manage and control documentation for quality, hygiene, energy and environmental systems.
- Develop, maintain and update Quality SOPs
- Train and ensure competence of all relevant employees for Quality SOPs.
- Calibration monitoring for internal and external equipment
**Requirement of Quality Assurance Controller**
- Knowledge of Quality Control procedures
- Experience of working in a high-speed production environment
- Good problem solving skills
- Ideally CI / Lean experience
- Computer literate and numerate
