Reed Liverpool is proud to be working in partnership with an amazing service based in Garston, Liverpool that supports children in residential homes. They are seeking experienced Team Leaders to join their team.
About the company, the company you will be working with are a specialised company that aims to make a positive impact on “looked after children” and ensure they have the best experiences and support to develop in a safe and secure environment. The home is based in the heart of Garston, Liverpool and is home to up to 3 children with EBD and LD.
As a team leader, you will be responsible for:
- To ensure that the team provides quality provisions that support the holistic need and encourage the development of children.
- To ensure that the home maintains company policies and procedures that align with relevant legalisations.
- To plan and develop a supportive rota.
- Ensure and support the children in their educational journey and ensure are actively involved in education.
- To support and be a positive role model for the team.
- To ensure that all records are maintained to a high-quality standard.
To be a successful team leader, you must have the following:
- To be able to commit to a variety of shift patterns, including sleep-in.
- Hold a level 3 or higher in either children's residential or equivalent.
- Full clean UK Driver’s License
- The authority to work in the UK full-time without limitations.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in children's residential and leading a team
- A knowledge of children's residential service, the legalisation that surrounds ‘looked after children’ and safeguarding of children.
