**Job Overview**:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Stores Coordinator to join our Engineering team. You'll play a key role in managing our inventory, which includes everything from machine specific parts, bearings, electrical components, precision machined equipment, PPE, and cleaning equipment, to other important items for our operations team. You'll keep everything running smoothly by keeping our stores organised and our parts easy to find. This is a busy and sometimes challenging role, but your efforts will help keep our manufacturing process going strong.

**Location**: Old Leake near Boston

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

**Reporting to**: Engineering Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
Your main tasks will include:

- Keeping track of goods coming in and out, such as motors, belts, bearings, and electrical parts.
- Ordering replacement parts as needed by our Engineers, like valves, seals, gaskets, and special tools.
- Building good relationships with a range of suppliers to get the best quality engineering items and materials.
- Regularly checking our stock levels to keep accurate inventory records.
- Finding and sourcing hard-to-get parts and materials, making sure we always have what we need.
- Getting goods ready for dispatch quickly and correctly, including packing and labelling sensitive engineering components.
- Keeping detailed records for auditing and documentation.
- Spotting when stocks are low and ordering more supplies to avoid delays.
- Giving daily reports on how our inventory management is going and if we have all necessary engineering items.
- Developing stores to make it more intuitive and more efficient.
- Helping other departments by ordering the equipment and supplies they need.

**Skills and Experience Required**:
We're looking for someone with:

- Previous work in a stores or inventory role, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel and other software for managing inventory.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for dealing with team members and suppliers.
- Good telephone manner and willing to negotiate with suppliers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
