Chapman Tate Associates seeks a IT Technical Manager to join this established focused, technology driven organisation that are heavily involved in a number of charitable and humanitarian issues within the community.

My client are at the forefront of the industry partnering with over 10,000 charities helping provide support around hunger and food wastage issues.

My client is seeking a good all-rounder that has experience of overseeing IT Infrastructure based teams (ideally) within Logistics, Food Distribution, Retail or for an IT MSP (Managed Service Provider).

You will work alongside the Chief Technology Office to help oversee a team of IT System, Infrastructure and Testing Engineers as well as managing resource from the IT MSP.

You will be accountable for all operational excellence and upkeep of service delivery across (but not limited to), ERP/WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), CRM’s, Networks, Client/Server environments, DR/Backup solutions, Hosted Services, Telephony and otherassociated areas.

Other areas of responsibilities will include:
You will oversee a total of 7 reports (3 Direct and 4 through a MSP).

Key areas of the role will include:

- Provide leadership to the Internal IT Infrastructure and Testing Team and keep MSP’s in line with various SLA’s
- Overseeing the integration of new/existing WMS’s to the associated CRM
- Review workload consistently and define a rolling forecast to have the right workload profile
- Maintain and continuity in CRM and ERP/WMS systems
- Identify bottlenecks and constraints to drive continuous improvement action
- Collaborate closely with and influence business consulting staff and leaders as part of multi-disciplinary teams to assess opportunities and technical solutions
