Tailor/ Sales Associate

We are looking for Tailor/ Sales Associate to join our team in our brand new Showroom in Aston, Birmingham
The tailor will be responsible for altering and modifying garments for customers in our Showroom which includes suits, blazers and trousers. As Sales associate you will also be assigned to the daily showroom duties to assist customers identify and purchase products they desire. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase revenue through sales maximisation.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Discuss design and alteration requirements with customers to ensure specifications are met
- Taking customers measurements using a tape measure
- Accurately recording customer measurements, instructions and preferences
- Altering garments to improve comfort and fit
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Promote the product and maximise sales
- Maintain outstanding showroom condition and visual merchandising standards
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Recommend and display items that match customers’ needs
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Keep up to date with product information and accurately describe product features and benefits
- Maintain awareness of existing promotions and advertisements
- Manage stock levels/movement and replenishment
- Manage and follow up bookings and appointments
You should be available to work between Monday - Saturday and will be working full time hours.
**Salary**: £12.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
