**What is the role?**
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Customer Care Team as a Maintenance Operative. This is a **12 months fixed term contract** with the possibility of going permanent and to be based at our site in **CV37**.
The purpose of the role is to provide a variety of high-quality remedial and maintenance works for customers in their new homes, providing maintaining high standards of customer experience.
**We are looking for people with experience in;**
- Painting & Decorating
- Joinery works
- Mastic works
- Small Plastering works
**The role will include**:
- Manage and prioritise workloads in order to complete high-quality remedial works in a timely manner
- Provide quality remedial works, ensuring compliance under the Persimmon Pledge and Customer Care Policies and Procedures
- Minimise costs associated with remedial works and adhere to the sign-off and cost recording policies, identify all contra-charging opportunities
- Complete all required online reporting via the Operative App, facilitating accurate record keeping of defect resolution and root cause analysis
- Liaise with and monitor subcontractors where appropriate, to complete inspections of reported defects, providing full details of agreed works to both the customer and the Customer Care Coordinators
- Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group's HS&E Policy and ensure compliance throughout team
**What we need from you?**
- Ability to be competent in all aspects of homeowner maintenance, including maintenance of machines and tools
- Painting, Joinery, mastic, Carpets, plastering is required.
- Windows & External Door experience would be advantageous
- PASMA certificate would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
- Conversant with Microsoft Office
- Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- First Aid qualification would be advantageous
