We are currently recruiting for a positive and enthusiastic **Researcher** to join our team on a **6 month fixed term** contract, based at our MMM creative hub in Acton, London.
**About the Role**
Reporting into the CMI Assistant Manager, the Researcher will be primarily responsible for the delivery of reference and production resource to Merlin Magic Making’s production and creative teams to support the production of wax figures and media content.
This is a global remit working as customer contact to Madame Tussauds attractions, marketing, creative and production teams for project delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering accurate picture research and supporting reference for wax figure production ensuring deliverables are fully approved, licensed and to the correct quality in time for each Figure’s production deadlines.
- Have project ownership of allocated wax figures, overseeing all aspects of the project from concept to delivery.
- Work with attraction and global brand team, as well as 3rd parties including IP holders where necessary to secure figure approvals.
- Co-ordinate local and international talent sittings.
- Keep all department trackers, document logs and project admin up to date accurately.
- Liaise with attractions teams, communicating information on progress for wax figure production & media content.
- Work effectively to build strong relationships with key customers (internal & external) and suppliers at all levels.
- Approach role with drive, motivation, individual resourcefulness and show resilience under pressure.
**About You**
**Essential**:
- Good knowledge of picture research and the way image banks work.
- Experience in licensing media for a variety of uses.
- Good knowledge of copyright and intellectual property.
- Understanding of the media industry.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience in financial forecasting & managing a budget.
- Good eye for detail.
- Regular use of creative software packages such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator will be required as well as Microsoft Office competency.
**Desirable**:
- Knowledge of production environments including video production.
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Data Management systems.
