**Job overview**:
The Clinical Assessment Unit (CAU) are looking to recruit a ward clerk to work within their administrative support team.

The hours are flexible and will include weekend and evening work as well day shift work.

The CAU unit provides a high quality patient focused service to the Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale area.

CAU is a fast paced, short stay unit providing medical assessment treatment and care for patients that require an inpatient stay in hospital.

**Main duties of the job**:
You will be the first point of contact for patients and staff contacting and attending the unit.

You will provide a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to the unit staff and patients
