As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be a fundamental part of our business, supporting in our ambitious 5-year growth plans.

You will be given complete autonomy to develop strategic plans to increase new business along with maintaining our existing business within the **Aerospace, Space & Defence**sectors.

There will be 3 Strategic Account Managers, (Including you) reporting into the Global Commercial & Programmes Director. Eventually you might need to lead a Key Account Manager, who will support you.

Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm on a hybrid basis - 2-3 days in our **Thatcham office** and the rest working from home.

**Who are 3T Additive Manufacturing Ltd (3T AM)?**

3T AM, part of Beamit Group, is a market leader in Advanced Manufacturing, utilising additive manufacturing to produce high performance metallic components for household name companies across Aerospace, Defence, Space, Energy, and Industrial sectors.

You will be joining 3T AM at one of the most exciting times in our 26-year history, with an increasing demand from our customers looking for a quicker and cost-effective way of producing metal components.

We have circa. 38 employees, we might be small, but we have BIG growth plans and looking to almost double our size in the next few years.

**What is Metal Additive Manufacturing?**

Additive Manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, is the process of using advanced technology to deposit thin layers of metal powder combined with thermal lasers to selectively consolidate the material into a solid. This creates parts/components that canbe more complex in design and lighter in weight than the traditional subtractive technologies, where material is removed or shaped.

**Your role as a Strategic Account Manager**:
Using your knowledge of the Aerospace, Space & Defence sectors, you will network with key contacts, spotting new business opportunities and introducing our services. Alongside this, you will be responsible for nurturing existing customer accounts.

You will be confident in developing high quality proposals through the global bid management process, producing new-business presentations and professionally delivering them to prospective customers.

Using your analytical skills, you will identify market trends and conduct competitor analysis to help keep the business competitive and remain a leader of the industry.

Once a customer is onboard, you will support in the creation of detailed project plans to ensure a seamless transition of new contracts to the NPI team.

You will utilise your customer skills to manage strategic relationships between key internal and external stakeholders.

**A UK driving licence will be needed** as you will be travelling to tradeshows, conferences, and networking events, along with attending customer meetings. There may also be some travel to Europe.

**About you**:
You will have extensive **sales/account management** experience within **Aerospace, Space OR Defence**.

You will be a self-starter with a proactive approach. You will also need to be flexible and adaptable to rapid change.

A background in manufacturing or engineering will be useful, however, not essential as you will be given the chance to work within each of our ops teams to really understand what we do.
