Ambulance Care Assistant OTE £26,000pa

We employ Ambulance Care Assistants around the country where we have work. You’ll be based from home and work as a 2-person crew on shifts in your nearest area. We’re currently recruiting in Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Peterborough & Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire.

As an Ambulance Care Assistant, your role will be filled with variety where no two days are the same as you transport patients to and from a range of different appointments (hospital, care home, nursing home); safely, comfortably, and in good time.

You will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, whilst displaying a ‘people focused’ approach to make our patients feel comfortable and cared for.
- Must have good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with the multi-agencies involved in patient care
- Must have ability to deliver a high-quality patient experience and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be warm, welcoming and a friendly individual who can reassure our patients and provide a high level of professional transport service
- Must hopefully have experience of working in a customer or patient care role
- Responsible for daily vehicle checks and cleanliness with focus on infection prevention and control
- Must have a full current driving licence (with B categories and no more than 3 points)

This position will require a criminal record check (enhanced DBS and Barred check) and satisfactory references to be undertaken.

Due to the need to access Care homes and Nursing Homes it is mandatory for applicants to provide evidence of both covid vaccines.

Previous experience is welcome, but all training will be provided.

Applicants must be aged over 25yrs as part of our insurance requirements.

**Salary**: On Target earnings of £26,000 on a 45 hour week (£9.50/hr plus achievable Pay Rewards). Benefit of remote model.
