Purchasing Assistant

Cirencester, United Kingdom Batten & Allen Ltd Full time

This role combines both purchasing admin and ledger-based activities.
- Obtaining supplier pricing
- Process and expedite purchase orders
- Process order acknowledgements ensuring deliveries are made on time for production requirements
- Process invoices to ensure they are paid in a timely manner
- Assist the Purchasing Manager with other purchasing tasks when required
- Process requisitions through purchasing inbox
- Monitoring supplier performances
- Maintaining professional relationships with suppliers
- Keeping supplier payment accounts up to date
- Resolving invoice queries

Must have skills
- Previous Purchasing admin experience
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills
- Competent in Microsoft office
- Strong communicator both verbally and written
- Able to follow processes accurately.
- Thorough and have a close eye to detail
- Good at problem solving

Suit someone who is keen to learn and gain Purchasing experience, be a self-motivated individual, a keen team player whilst equally comfortable working alone.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
