Credit specialist / Accounts Assistant required on a full time, permanent basis, to join a leading software manufacturing firm based in Acton, Ealing, West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller who is looking for afast paced accounts role within a global organisation with cutting edge technology.

**credit controller / Accounts AssistantPosition Overview**

Prepare VAT returns and EC Sales listing
Create a weekly aged debt report
Maintain Sales Ledger
Enter /post all Cash Receipts
Reconcile Sales Ledger to GL
Reconciliation of Bank accounts and bank clearing accounts
Enter journals arising from Sales ledger, Bank reconciliation and VAT

**Responsible for credit control**

Opening New Accounts on SAP, checking credit limits
chasing payments, issuing statements
Deal with customer queries
Issue credit notes and inform customers of credit status
Monitor credit and overdue invoices
Run reports from SAP to Identify overdue accounts in arrears
Run open Sales orders to identify required shipments for overdue customers
Negotiate special terms to resolve old debt to allow some business to take place and to lower exposure.

**credit controller / Accounts AssistantPosition Requirements**
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent VAT knowledge
- Ability to recommend credit direction in the best interests of Company
- Solid problem-solving and negotiating skills.
- Ability to multi-task
- Computer knowledge (Excel, SAP, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
- AAT ACCA CIMA qualifications are highly desirable

**credit controllerPosition Remuneration**

£30,000 - £35,000 dependant on skills and experience
20 days of holiday rising to 21 days after 3 years of service. After successful completion of the probationary period, the employee is able to join the private health care plan through BUPA (no employee contribution)
pension scheme.
8.30 - 17.00 Monday - Friday, office based role
on going training, development and career progression
