The post-holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services, supporting the Finance department.

The post holder will be required to communicate with all levels of staff seniority both clinical and non-clinical, internal, and external to the Trust on matters that may be highly confidential, contentious, and sensitive. They will also need to be able well organised and work under their own initiative.

The post holder will be required to have excellent PC skills with in depth knowledge and experience using Excel spread sheets and Word to coordinate the production and format of data for reports and other documents on a regular basis.
- Support the administration of finance department groups.
- Administrator for UHBW Finance portal.
- Co-ordinate the review and monitoring of appraisal and mandatory and essential training for finance staff (c120 people).
- Develop and co-ordinate staff training and wellbeing resources.
- Develop and maintain the finance department workspace/Teams.
- Maintain FOI requests register and responses, sending reminders and escalating to ensure compliance with response deadlines.
- Provide specialist secretarial/administration support and advice to the Finance team.
- Arranging and changing appointments, meetings, meeting rooms and prioritising these as appropriate. Ensuring there is always sufficient administrative cover.
- Running and collating reports which may include reports to the Board and senior management as required.
- Create databases and spreadsheets. Input, monitor and check data produced and required for on-going and finite activities.
