We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to play a vital role in providing support at our Frist Base Day Centre.

**About the role**:
As an Administrator, you will be working for a people-led organisation whose mission and values is to inspire change across Sussex.

First Base is a Day Centre for people experiencing homelessness. Based in the centre of Brighton, First Base provides support to assist people who are rough sleeping or vulnerably housed to move on from the streets or insecure accommodation and realise their aspirations. First Base operates client-centred specialist services to support people to address their healthcare needs, start realising their aspirations through work, learning and leisure and find a place they can call home.

The administrator has a pivotal role in the service, ensuring the smooth running of the office and all related systems. The administrator will also deal with a wide range of enquiries from clients, partner agencies and members of the public.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be an effective and efficient administrator with excellent communications skills and experience of database management and providing admin support to the wider team.

You will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to communicate at all levels.
- Carry out general administrative duties such as taking meeting minute notes, prepare agendas, book rooms and maintain stock of office stationery.
- Maintain invoicing systems, petty cash and complete monthly credit card returns.

**About You**:

- Experience of office systems and procedures.
- Experience of maintaining accurate computerised and paper-based records.
- Good understanding of client confidentiality.
- Ability to be sensitive to the needs of homeless individuals, people with mental health difficulties and people with substance misuse problems.
