An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a full time and part time (15 hours) position as an Activity Coordinator at Derwent Centre, Harlow, Essex. A unique career opportunity to become a key member of the nursing and occupational therapy team, you must be enthusiastic, motivated with good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

The Derwent Centre has excellent transportation links with London as well as being conveniently located close to the M11 and M25 motorways.

The post holder carries responsibility for planning and delivery for a range of therapeutic activities for working aged adults. The Activities Coordinator will work within the inpatient setting, objectively meeting the needs identified in the service users care plans. The post holder will work under the supervision of qualified nurses and occupational therapists, whilst able to work on a regular basis without direct supervision, and maintaining excellent working relationships with the multi-disciplinary team

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.

All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.
