We are looking for a Junior Marketing Administrator to support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Administrator of our very busy client with a variety of tasks from updating the website with new product launches, images as well as creating customer accounts in their CRM, setting up online logins, writing engaging product descriptions and setting up search keywords as well as selecting product images.

This is a great opportunity for someone fairly junior and who is looking to develop their career within a professional and growing business. Our client has a small marketing team, so from time to time everyone mucks in with various tasks; it is essential that you have a can-do attitude and don’t mind getting your hands dirty when required.

For the first 6 - 8 months on the role, time will mainly be spent developing the 2nd website ready for launch in January 2024 alongside the day-to-day administration of the current website which is already live.

The Junior Marketing Administrator role would suit someone with some office based experience who is looking to learn and grow within a well-established business. This will include speaking to suppliers about new product launches, downloading those images and taking the product copy and adjusting it to suit our client’s style, and then uploading that information to their website.

You will have a good communication manner as you will be liaising with your colleagues internally both within the sales and purchasing departments. You will have some excel experience and use it fairly regularly.

It's essential that you have great attention to detail particularly when writing about new products, ideally have some office admin experience and are a bright and bubbly personality that is diligent and will see a task through to finish.

**Skills Required for the Junior Marketing Administrator**
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Customer Service or Administration and experience within hospitality is preferable.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills whilst being able to work with challenging deadlines and managing your own time when required
- Any SEO & HTML experience, beneficial but not essential

**The Role**
- Website product & category management - updating, removing & adding products, getting product information from suppliers, writing engaging product descriptions, setting search keywords, selecting product images. Creating product categories for special features based on the marketing plan.
- Creating customer accounts in the CRM system and setting up online logins & communicating them to the customer
- Ensuring consistency across the site - e.g. formatting descriptions & category layout
- Working with the purchasing manager & marketing manager to ensure the right products are online.
- Working with the sales teams to satisfy specific customer product online needs
- Working with suppliers in order to capture all required information and documents needed for new listings and categories.
- Updating & managing customer product lists, setting up web logins from online requests & sales team requests, and distributing online quote requests to internal sales.
- Handling website queries & troubleshooting for customers, occasionally over the phone
- Supporting with sales reporting requests from sales & customers
- Ensuring product information, offers, delivery and terms & conditions are always up-to-date
- Helping collect & research information for the website knowledge centre and blog content to support the marketing manager
