**Position: Project Worker Salary: £9.88**

**Chief Executive Officer Hours: 38 hrs per week**

**Location Lyme Trust Premises**

**JOB PURPOSE**

To encourage and assist all residents with their social, emotional and psychological needs.

To ensure the health and safety of all residents and Lyme Trust property.

To provide all residents with activities in a productive environment in line with mental health recovery and maintenance

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- To support all residents in all aspects of their day to day living, including emotional and practical care.
- To investigate, co-ordinate and action, educational, social and recreational activities for all residents
- To complete and review, an individual support plan and licence agreement with all residents under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager
- To provide the first point of contact for all residents and emergency services in a crisis or emergency situation in the absence of a Senior Project Manager
- To provide 24 hour cover where necessary by using communication devices i.e. Radios, Tablets and the On Call phone
- To take part in the On-Call and Back-Up On-Call on a rota basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Support
- To be the first point of contact for any resident and log any visits on your tablet/RMS
- To co-ordinate and participate in all internal and external resident activities
- To engage in life skills training (cooking, cleaning, finance etc.)
- To act as advocate and link worker for residents
- To carry out specific client induction period in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager
- To carry out tasks highlighted through risk assessments
- To assist all residents to maintain their placement via regular contact with them
- To contact emergency services or social service duty teams in times of crisis or in the absence of a member of the Management Team
- To seek the advice of the on call management staff as and when required

Health & Safety
- To ensure all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to
- To assist in regular assessment of the emergency evacuation procedures
- To assist in regular fire / safety equipment checks
- To ensure the security of all Lyme Trust property and clients through regular checks and patrols whilst taking visual images on your tablets and then uploaded to the RMS
- To liaise with outside services in cases of fire, intruders and vandalism
- To supervise emergency evacuations
- To ensure any safety equipment used is reported
- To report any defects or repairs via the RMS

Administration
- To enforce working standards as agreed through the Management Team
- To monitor quality standards of support
- To carry out risk assessments in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager
- To attend all meetings which fall within the remit of your role

Other
- To carry out cleaning duties as and when required
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Management Team

**Salary**: £9.88 per hour
