**About the Role**
The Central Project Management Office is ‘mission control’ of all project-related activity here at Drax, with a particular focus on allowing us to optimally coordinate the strategic and transformation programmes that are essential to delivering its strategy

This is a highly visible role leading on the prioritisation, scoping, structuring and execution of a portfolio of projects to support new initiatives and business processes cross functionally, ensuring alignment with our group sustainability strategy and Central PMO governance. You’ll ensure assigned project leads follow consistent governance and drive multiple projects to the agreed time, cost and quality standards set out by Central PMO.

In this new and exciting role, you’ll work with our Chief Sustainability Officer, Head of Decarbonisation and Head of Central PMO to develop a portfolio of change for Sustainability across Drax.

Day to day you’ll lead on the development of the sustainability roadmap for change and business planning including budgetary requirements and manage the expenditure of the budget across the year and report on progress against the Sustainability change plan at Group level.

You’ll champion a culture of change and drive business development through projects and programmes whilst analysing project and programme strategies, including risks, issues, actions, and dependencies.

**About You**
You’ll have a deep knowledge and demonstrable experience of working with programme and project methodologies (e.g., MSP, Waterfall, Agile) with recognised qualification in MSP with the ability to manage multiple complex cross functional projects in a Global matrixed environment. Experience of developing delivery methodologies and standards to suit the nature of the business would also be desirable in this role.

As an experienced member of the senior management team in the Central Project Management Office, you’ll have the ability and confidence to influence and provide challenge to the business, driving change where required whilst building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Methodical and Process-oriented; you’ll be analytical; innovative and adaptive in a fast-paced environment and you’ll be both a good technical communicator and storyteller for less specialist audiences. Comfortable with outreach and networking with wider standards and stakeholder community, you’ll have a passion for creating their desire to interact with us as a business, share their thoughts and observations as we bring our sustainability strategy to life through a portfolio of change projects and programmes.
