Administrative Assistant

Our Client who is successful growing business based in March, Cambridgeshire is wanting to hire an Administrative Assistant to join their busy team. This is a busy role at the heart of the business so the successful applicant should have a background in completing administrative duties quickly and accurately.
Duties include
- Pre-installation administration
- Ensure customer leads are logged.
- Ensure sales orders are booked on the Intranet and new customers are set up on the system.
- Obtain deposits for all retail orders when required.
- Send details to surveyor and monitor to ensure prompt responses.
- Make up job folder with costing sheet and ensure jobs with profit levels below set limits are approved by a director or rejected and passed back to Sales.
- Once survey approved and job booked in, pass order to manufacturing with appropriate required by date.
- Check with manufacturing confirmation for correct pricing and content.
- Book jobs in with customers and put on fitting board.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations.
- Sales order processing onto Windows Designer system.
2. Credit control
- Raise invoices for jobs dated on the installation date with copy to fitters to collect payment.
- Ensure customers pay on time, suitable deposits are obtained, and suitable check checks are made on new customers.
3. Sales after care
- Ensure service calls are booked in promptly and charged for if appropriate.
- Notify governing body if appropriate.
- Prepare guarantees for customers.
