Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our hotel team. As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail and strong leadership skills will ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

**Duties**:

- Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
- Assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests and maintenance repairs
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the housekeeping department
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for housekeeping staff
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for new housekeeping team members

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using cleaning equipment and supplies
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.45-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 38 per week
