We are looking for kind, fun, proactive and energetic individuals to join our friend and hardworking team of support workers here in Newbury, Berkshire. Every day here is different and you will support a number of individuals with a range of day to day practical tasks, support them to increase their independence whilst living their own flats and also assist them to engage with the fun things in life. Our service users enjoy going to festivals, day trips, evenings out, swimming, bowling, attending sport events and even have their own weekly film night in the communal area.

Pelham house is a supported living service nestled in Newbury. Whilst previous care assistant or NHS experience is always welcome, we encourage applicants of all levels of experience provided you have a passion for care, a desire to help others and a warm and caring nature.

Our excellent Creative Academy recently was awarded the Investors in People Gold award and provides extensive training to all levels of staff from day one and continuing throughout your employment with us. You development as a care worker will be supported throughout the time you work with us.

Drivers are preferred but not essential.

Support Worker Duties:

- Provision of practical, emotional and behavioural support to service users,
- Help service users with running their own homes,
- Completing general housing management tasks, cooking and paying bills,
- Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users,
- Provision of personal care to service users.

**We expect all applicants to Creative Support to have had at least their first COVID- 19 vaccination prior to starting employment with us and to be committed to having the second vaccination within a 3 month period.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £10.25 per hour
