As a SAP Junior Functional Consultant / Developer you will respond to Business and Technical requirements to resolve issues, improve and extend the functionality of the core finance solution. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying solution changesrequired to resolve issues and develop solution including ABAP developments and enhancements on the SAP solution.

TUI Group is implementing SAP across the Business with the UK & Ireland, our Central European Business (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland) and Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland). Further rollouts of the single system across additional territoriesare planned over the coming years. This is an exciting time to join the Team with a wide remit, multiple projects and new functionality constantly required by the business departments.

**ABOUT THE JOB**

As a SAP Junior Functional Consultant / Developer you will
- Implement and support SAP Financials and Controlling in a techno-functional role to enhance the clients’ business functionality within SAP FICO (Accounts Payable).
- Act as liaison with the users for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems as well as map the clients’ business requirements, processes, and objectives independently by TUI specific customizing as well as developing high qualitydeliverables to satisfy the business needs.
- Design, code and correct ABAP programs and program modifications as custom development.
- Understand the interactions between the SAP environment and surrounding systems as well as evaluate the impact of changes or additions.
- Understand which requirements can be achieved through customizing, system development or enhancements.
- Define test cases and run unit tests and system integration tests on developed, or modified system changes and support user acceptance testing as required for new user functionality.
- Consult with peers on Incidents, changes and projects as required.
- Create, change, or enhance technical specifications for customizations and newly created or modified developments.
- Provide input and guidance on development and architecture decisions.
- Strive for highest quality and knowledge of how to use all relevant tools to verify the quality (e.g. Code Inspector, Performance Trace, SQL Trace).
- Create proper documentation to ensure seamless deployments and easy support.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Well-motivated to be responsible for ABAP coding and customization AND building a comprehensive functional knowledge to satisfy the business requirements in Accounts Payable (techno-functional role).
- Technical experience within ABAP, data structures, interfacing, optimising code development and SAP enhancements (we are on ECC6 EhP8 with ABAP 7.50). A module understanding from Finance (FI) and/or Purchasing (PO) would be an advantage.
- Very good English language written and verbal skills. German language skills would be beneficial.
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently on larger or more complex business requirements.
- Problem analysis and solving abilities.
- Ability to work on multiple topics simultaneously, meet deadlines, and properly escalate issues for a timely resolution.
