Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Lyndon Community Mental Health Services Community services, where we are looking to recruit
a Band 6 CPN or Allied Health Professional. You will be joining us at an exciting time of the planning and implementation of our Community Transformation.
The post holder will care co-ordinate a caseload of patients with complex mental health problems, within CMHT. There will be regular supervision
to support this. They should have a good understanding of the CPA framework and our responsibilities within it. They will work alongside and within the wider multi-disciplinary team.
They must be able to work independently and have the ability to prioritise and effectively manage their workload. The role requires close working with other members of our team, outside teams/agencies, and with our service users and families. The applicant will therefore need to be able to communicate effectively, and have skill with those who may be more difficult to engage.
The post holder will also be expected at times to cover other roles for periods of leave/absence, and will be expected to contribute to Trust/team initiatives as required.
The applicant must have a flexible and 'can do' approach, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes, often at short notice. A positive attitude is essential for effective team work and management of the challenges and complexities within our work.
