**The Opportunity**

Finatal are currently retained on a search for a FP&A director for a high-tech interactive simulation software business. The business has recently been acquired by new owners and with this seek to undergo their next stage of growth. With an injection ofcapital, the business aims to expand its position in the global market, reaching a larger customer base and securing new contracts overseas. This will be seen through organic product development as well as buy and build potential.

**The Role**
- Creating a best-in-class, scalable FP&A function to support a business undertaking an aggressive growth strategy.
- Directly supporting the CFO and the executive leadership team in commercial operations.
- Being a true business partner with all stakeholders, specifically sales, operations and marketing to effectively forecast and provide profit analysis.
- Total ownership of annual and long-term plan, operating budget and year end fo
- Supporting and adding value to the CFO and board with regards to M+A activity, from initial sourcing right through to completion.
- Hands on and dynamic mindset to promote commercial thinking within the team, autonomy to identify and execute potential revenue drivers and cost savers.
- Upskill and build on an established FP&A analyst, maximising both potential and efficiency in the function.
- Ad-hoc scenario modelling for all commercial activity.

**The Requirements**
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who is 3-10 years post qualified preferably.
- Experience with mid-size high growth B2B companies.
- Hands on, communicative approach with immaculate presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- FP&A Experience (Budgeting/Planning/Forecasting)
- Excellent Excel experience, building and managing complex models.
