They operate Nationwide to design, install and maintain world-class quality solar systems for businesses, public sector institutions and new build commercial developments. Custom Solar are able to offer a number of different financing solutions to their clients including capital purchase, PPAs and leasing options. They also offer a full O&M package with all new solar installations as well as the ability to roll this service out to third party installations. Since 2010, they have maintained some of the country's largest Solar PV portfolios and their wealth of experience in this area gives their clients confidence that their investment is in the best hands.

Custom Solar have a number of high-profile clients including the Association of British Ports. Custom Solar secured a framework partnership with ABP, the UK's leading port operator, with a unique network of 21 ports across England, Scotland and Wales. Their ports include Immingham and Hull, where Custom Solar recently installed the UK's largest rooftop project, a 6.5MWp solar system across the main terminals buildings with works including major HV upgrade works.

**The Role**

**Senior Planer**
- Preparing planning appraisals of land and buildings for Solar project.
- Contribute to the preparation and editing of Design & Access statements, sustainability statements, and other supporting documents.
- Liaising and negotiating with planning officers, employees of consultee organisations, third parties.
- Liaising and cultivating good relationships with clients and fellow professionals.
- Preparing and making presentations at meetings, including parish council and planning committee.
- Witing complex reports, interpreting data and making clear and relevant recommendations.
- Maintaining an awareness of marker conditions and the impact of government policies.
- RTPI accredited degree.
- Working towards or plans to pursue full RTPI chartership.
- Detailed knowledge of the UK Town Planning system.
- Detail orientated with excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience taking the lead on projects
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Flexible/hybrid working
