RW Maintain are part of the trigon of companies offering seamless fire doorset certification from RW Joinery. RW Maintain provides a fire door maintenance service to clients with replacement performance fire doors or maintenance of existing under the BM Trada Fire Door Maintenance Scheme. In addition RW Maintain continues the intrinsic link in certification to clients and end users upon completion of projects by RW Joinery. RW Maintain will service, repair and where necessary replace doorsets installed by RW Joinery to ensure the certification and performance of doorsets is maintained at all times.

RW Joinery has a strong 50-year heritage throughout the northwest and nationally. RW Maintain is a new division which provides clients with the peace of mind that their doors are being maintained to the same high standards they were installed to by a company with over 50 years experience in the industry. **Job Purpose.**

The primary role will involve receiving the project information from the Sales & Estimating team for fire door replacement and remedial works and preparing all the project works for the site delivery team. The role will be primarily office based with the requirement for site visits to ascertain site conditions and measurements.

The main duties will be as follows:

- Engaging with the client team to ensure full communication throughout the delivery of the project
- Review of estimator information to ensure full compliance with the specification and fire door regulations
- Preparation of quality plans
- Health, Safety and Environmental preparation including RAMS and any CDM requirements
- Resource programming and planning of works
- Material requirements and requisitions for site works
- Checking and management of door manufacturing schedules through to delivery on site
- Setting up digital recording system ready for use on site

**Key Responsibilities.**
- Attend tender handover meetings and deliver pre-start meetings to the site team
- Working with the Contracts Manager to produce and analyse progress reports and forecasts.
- Work alongside the Commercial Managers and pay due cognisance to the commercial standing and management of individual projects.
- Mitigating all risks on site whether it be financial, quality, compliance, programme or health and safety related
- Ensure weekly review of progress, and forward planning are carried out, working with the contracts manager to produce lookahead programmes and ensure adequate resources are in place.
- Attend internal and external meetings and ensure the production of accurate records of any discussions and actions

**Health, Safety and Environmental.**
- Assess the risks associated with the work and methods of work to be adopted. Ensure that any additional training requirements are identified and provide training as necessary
- Oversee and ensure that HSE-related documents are kept up to date and liaise with contract managers, ensuring that audits and reports are produced.

It is of paramount importance that our certified installations are recorded correctly. Oversee and ensure that digital quality recording systems are properly set up and are maintained by contract managers to the satisfaction of our procedures in a timely manner.

**Customer Relations.**
- Build and maintain relationships with both the client and external customers
- Chair and lead meetings with the customer and report on progress to date
- Ensure that works are carried out in a manner becoming of RW Joinery.

**Key Skills.**
- Must have experience in fire safety works and similar role.
- Must have a yearning to learn and grow with the company.
- Must be an enthusiastic self-starter with confident communications skills.
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Preferably be experienced with the BM Trada Q Mark Fire Door Installers and Maintenance scheme.

**Benefits**:

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
