**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
**About the service**:

- We are a service of 6 young adults in our 20's and 30's sharing differences which make us unique.
- All of us at the service are mobile and enjoy getting out and about, this means we require different levels of support both at home and in the community
- Some different challenges of the people we support at this service include: learning difficulties, communication difficulties and autism. Our large team of staff are trained to support us in all varying challenges.
- The service is split across 7 bungalows with one solely for staff and an office

**Key features of your role and expectations**:

- Identify, escalate and contribute to the management of risk. Lead and support a team to mitigate any potential risk to deliver an effective, safe and compliant service to ensure the best interests of the people we support are always maintained.
- Take overall responsibility for ensuring all legislation, regulations and professional standards are met and implemented.
- Design and regularly review service action, KPI's and delivery plans in line with quality assurance procedures to promote passion and positive continuous improvement for the staff.
- To lead, design and manage care planning actions, ensuring employees understand the importance of co-producing plans with the people we support.

With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.

You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.

In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).
