**About the role**

Totally Urgent Care Division is a leading provider of national urgent care and out of hospital services following the integration of Vocare and Greenbrook.

We are seeking committed, enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to train as ACPs to join our Clinical team at Watford UTC, to deliver the highest quality urgent care to our patients.

**Your day to day**
- Act as an advanced practitioner, demonstrating advanced clinical competence and a knowledge base beyond those associated with conventional clinical roles.
- Triage patients presenting as walk-ins to the appropriate service.
- Undertake consultations, both face to face and via the telephone, with patients of all ages (neonate to elderly) as an autonomous practitioner and using own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer and/or discharge patients.
- Maintain a professional manner and act as a positive role model for junior staff and other members of the Urgent Care Centre team
- Where required provide supervision and mentoring to other staff in order to support them develop their knowledge skills and abilities.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with medical, nursing, allied health professionals and operational staff to ensure delivery of a co-ordinated service.
- Ensure accurate record keeping in line with local policies and their registration body’s guidelines.

**Qualifications, Experience & Training**
- Registered Nurse or Paramedic - First Level Nurse or other healthcare professional qualification leading to registration
- Degree in healthcare or equivalent
- Clinical skills qualification at degree level
