**Overview of Job Role**

Ashbridge Independent School is looking for a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in our Reception Class. The role is full time: 8.30am until 4.00pm including a 30 minute lunch break, term time only.

The contract is a temporary contract for the academic year 2023-2024 but there is likely to be an opportunity to continue after this time.

We are looking for an amazing Teaching Assistant who will become part of a dynamic and skilful teaching team. There will be time each day for focussed 1:1 work, small group work and in class support and an opportunity to play a part in the wider aspects of school life. The pay scale will be a minimum of Level 2 and possibly more for someone with the right experience and qualifications.

We are looking for the right person to start in this role on 4th September 2023 or as soon as possible after this date.

**Recruitment Process**
- The position will be advertised through recruitment websites and social media.
- Interviews take place at the school following specific questions relating to experience, safeguarding and other relevant topics. Interviews are carried out by at least two members of the Senior Leadership Team.
