Senior Client Money Payment Executive

**Purpose of the Role**
This exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of our Client Money Teams as a Senior Client Money Payment Executive. You will be responsible for the accurate payment of our members’ insurer and client bank account payments in accordance with FCA regulations and agreed service level agreements.
**What you will do**
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more.
- Accurate payment of our members’ Insurer payments and refunds to clients in accordance with FCA CASS regulations and Client Money Service level agreements.
- Ensure Insurer bank details are kept up to date.
- Allocate and reconcile all funds received into the central banks.
- Action any rejected payments in any of the central bank accounts.
- Oversee the insurer payment and client money inbox.
- Liaise with other teams i.e. IT, MI to resolve any issues.
- Take part in projects for continuous improvement of systems.
- Identification and prevention, where possible, of CASS breaches.
- Interpret / input data from reports.
- Guide and mentor other Payment Executives on the team.
- Provide cover for the Team Leader during times of absence.
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, process driven individual who has strong attention to detail, can manage their own time and is confident in liaising with internal staff and external customers and banks about monetary points.
Full training will be given so mathematically focused graduates or school leavers will also be considered and if you are a quick learner with a passion for accuracy, this could be a great opportunity for you.
This is a hybrid role once training is complete with 2, maybe 3 days per week in the office in Knaresborough until October ‘23 and then Leeds.
