Newhall Mains, a luxurious small hotel nestled in the breathtaking Highlands, is seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Team Member. You will be the face of our hotel, providing exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our discerning guests. Your warm hospitality, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our luxury hotel.
**Responsibilities**:
Guest Check-in/Check-out: Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor during check-ins and farewells. Process check-ins efficiently, ensuring accurate information and handling any special requests.
Concierge Services: Offer personalized concierge services to guests, including providing information about local attractions, arranging transportation, making restaurant reservations, and organizing tours or activities.
Breakfast and Dinner Waiting: Assist in the breakfast and dinner service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Take orders, serve food and beverages, and attend to guests' needs promptly and professionally.
Bar Work: Help with bar operations, including serving beverages and snacks to guests. Ensure the bar area is clean and well-stocked, and handle cash or card transactions as required.
Guest Relations: Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and exceeding guest expectations through attentive and personalized service.
Reservation Management: Assist with handling guest reservations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date booking information in the hotel's system.
Lobby and Public Areas: Ensure the lobby and public spaces are impeccably maintained, creating an inviting and luxurious ambiance for guests.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other hotel staff, including housekeeping, restaurant, and management teams, to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a secure and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment is highly preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing top-notch guest service.
- Impeccable presentation and professional appearance, reflecting the luxury standard of the hotel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Multilingual abilities may be advantageous in catering to diverse guest needs.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 2 months
Part-time hours: 16-45 per week
**Salary**: £10.90-£15.00 per hour
