Within Awaze, our Specialist Brands Division (SBD) is responsible for newly acquired and growth brands and has responsibility for integrating them into the wider business. We currently has 8 acquired vacation rental businesses from across Europe and is planningto accelerate that acquisition over the next few years.

**The Role**:
We are looking for someone to take responsibility for managing and optimising Search Engine Optimisation for all SBD Brands. We need someone that is experienced in creating, managing and optimising paid marketing campaigns (Paid Search, Paid Social, Display,Youtube) and is fluent in German.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership for SBD paid marketing for German speaking markets
- Development and management of all performance marketing activity for German speaking markets delivering growth and ROI / ROAS performance.
- Work with the SBD Brand Local GMs/Brand Leads to deliver customer acquisition targets on their behalf utilising all performance marketing channels
- Build and develop the growth of SBD SEM, Paid Social and Display prospecting programs with a focus on new & non-cannibalised customers.
- Work with the local Brand Marketing teams to support any brand awareness and upper funnel engagement activity through paid channels as well as ensuring that any paid activity is aligned to the local brand identity, values and messaging.
- Adopt a continual 'test and learn' approach to all performance marketing activities
- Working with the Digital Product team to ensure maximum conversion through landing page and digital customer journey optimisation.
- Communication to and management of key stakeholders (SBD Brand GM’s, SBD MD, SBD Finance, etc..) to ensure performance marketing is delivering on volume and efficiency expectations
- Manage and work with external partners and agencies to maximising output and performance as required
- Summarise, analyse and present results, using the findings to feed back into strategy formulation
- Research competitor activity and reporting on findings, gap analysis, etc.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a performance marketing role
- **Fluent/Native German Speaker**:

- Performance marketing experience in an E-commerce business preferred
- Paid Search expert with hands-on experience of Google ads and Google 360
- Adwords qualified, experienced in rules-based tools, building and maintaining PPC campaigns
- Ideally experience of managing Paid Social, Youtube and/or Display campaigns
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills, with an intuitive mind and great problem-solving skills
- Experience of remote working and distributed teams

**LOCATION**: Please note this role can be based (a couple of days a week) in any our offices (Manchester, London or Kent)
