About Us:
**Send Inclusion Support is a specialist SEND and Inclusion Agency that support teaching assistants gain a temp to perm or permanent role in a school.**

This SEND school is located in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool. They are committed to providing the highest level of support and education to students with a wide range of needs, from moderate learning difficulties to complex conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and non-verbal communication challenges.

Position Overview:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant at Send Inclusion Support, you will be a crucial part of our team, working closely with students with diverse needs to help them achieve their full potential. Whether you have personal experience, a background in care, or previous experience in a school setting, your dedication to supporting students with SEND is what matters most.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.

Assist with personal care, including toileting, feeding, and mobility support, as necessary.

Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe and valued.

Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

Support students in developing essential life skills and independence.

Engage in positive communication with students, their families, and the wider school community.

Encourage and facilitate social interactions and friendships among students.

Embrace the unique qualities and challenges of each student and adapt your approach accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:
Passion for working with children and young people with SEND.

Personal or professional experience in caregiving or supporting individuals with SEND is a plus.

Willingness to assist with personal care and adapt to the specific needs of students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
