Breakfast and Afterschool Club at St Mary's Catholic Primary School, part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust,is looking to appoint a Breakfsat and Afterschool Club Assistant.

The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools. We have a vision for our Trust that goes beyond our individual academies and that changes our perception from **my** academy to **our** academy. Working collaboratively, each academy benefits from others’ strengths and expertise within the Trust, and practically from the services provided and procured centrally.

**Salary**: Grade AB SCP 2 £10,741.40 (pro rata) FTE £22,366 per annum, 21.25hrs per week

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 7.30 am - 8.45am and 3.00 pm - 6 pm (Term Time Only)

In particular, the post holder will:

- Greet children on arrival at club, provide and supervise play.
- Prepare food as required, as per menu of the day.
- Follow Risk Assessments guidelines.
- Follow Food Hygiene guidelines.
- Supervision of pupils, ensuring their safety.
- Report to the Deputy Head Teacher/ Head Teacher any pupil problems or behavioural difficulties in accordance with school policy and work at all times within safeguarding guidelines.
- Deal with incidents in accordance with agreed breakfast club/ after school club policy strategies; encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
- Liaise with parents.
- Assist younger children at mealtimes.
- Check that pupils arrive at their classrooms safely into the care of their teacher.
- Record all accidents in the accident book and complete form for parent.
