Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Disability North. As a Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to a young individual with autism and non-verbal communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with morning routine, including changing pads, dressing, and supervising breakfast
  • Ensure the individual's safety and well-being throughout the morning
  • Prepare the individual for school, including packing bags and ensuring they are ready for transport
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and tidy environment

Requirements

  • Permission to work in the U.K.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and special needs (desirable)
