General Builder

**Background**

Albion Quarters are offering an exciting opportunity to join a small team within a growing construction company to carry out a wide range of house extensions and renovations as well as commercial projects in and around the Gloucestershire area. **Key Responsibilities**

As an enthusiastic, experienced team player, you will be required to deliver cost-effective projects in a timely and efficient manner, providing a high level of customer satisfaction. This is hands on job, you will need to be physically fit and used to working with tools and equipment.

**Duties of the Role**

Property repairs and maintenance including:

- Brickwork
- Groundwork
- Carpentry
- Drainage
- Plastering
- Steel work

**Experience and Personal Attributes**
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience (required)
- Must be reliable and punctual with a can-do attitude
- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently
- Good communicator and be able to understand both verbal and written instructions
- Work to a high standard & quality
- Industry-recognized qualifications (desirable)
- CSCS (an advantage but not essential)
- CPCS (an advantage but not essential)
- Clean full UK driving licence
- You must have the right to work in the UK

**Logistics**

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday; you will be provided a works van to travel to job locations/suppliers and tools for the role. Albion Quarters offer a competitive package of £18-£25/hr depending on experience with 20 days’ holiday plus a day off for your birthday in addition to bank holidays. Overtime will be available but not expected.
