Are you an administrator who’s looking to join a world-recognised organisation?

This role will involve administering purchases from appropriate sources on a value for money basis, ensuring favourable terms are achieved and goods and services are delivered in accordance with the needs of the business.

The position is for 40 hours per week, between 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday.

**Temporary Procurement Administrator Responsibilities**

Your duties will include:

- Process requisitions for the supply of goods and services ensuring they are appropriately authorised
- Liaise with internal and external customers and suppliers for progression of outstanding orders for delivery
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations
- Raise Purchase Orders within existing purchase system to a professional standard
- Check Supplier Acknowledgements and challenge when required
- Expedite and progress deliveries from suppliers & maintain delivery reporting
- Follow the Purchasing Procedures of the company
- Maintain the working environment to levels consistent with the company
- Ensure that the company's Health & Safety policy is observed
- Carry out from time to time as directed tasks in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and with the capabilities of the job holder

**Temporary Procurement Administrator Requirements**
- Purchasing experience with a solid understanding of purchase expediting requirements
- Good telephone manner
- Strong communication is essential
- Microsoft excel and office skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Good team player

**The Location**

Our client’s office is based in Wantage (OX12), where parking is available. The position will be based at the office initially, although once you are trained hybrid working will be possible.
