An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) of Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust for a passionate and highly motivated Clinical Lead (Band 7) from either a Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work background to join our team

The EIP service in Nottinghamshire is delivered through a multidisciplinary team of practitioners who provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments for people aged 14-65 who are experiencing a First Episode Psychosis (FEP) or an At Risk Mental State (ARMS) for the development of psychosis.

Working in collaboration with the Team Leader, the post holder will be responsible for leading, monitoring and evaluating the clinical practice of the team driving towards clinical excellence. You will provide and oversee clinical supervision and support the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high quality and safe patient centred care.
- To provide a defined level of specialist assessment (CAARMS) and access to interventions for a diverse patient group and their families under the care programme approach, who present with significant mental health problems
- The post holder will be expected to be part of the EIP management team and the senior hub group that will lead and continually review and develop the EIP pathways of care across the AMH community mental health teams, inpatient and crisis services. Will have oversight over ongoing governance of interventions, access times and evidence-based practice in correlation with access and waiting time standard and measured as part of the NCAP audit
- To lead on service transformation, evolution of FEP and ARMS pathway, interventions (for example Feeling Safe Programme), support and lead the development of EIP pathway of care across the inpatient and community mental health teams to embed and implement new ways of working.

- To maintain clinical expertise in practice through managing a small caseload and undertake and gain required skills and knowledge to facilitate on-going development of the post.
- To offer and support induction, preceptorship, coaching and mentorship to clinical staff to enhance clinical assessment, formulation and care planning to promote a learning culture, enabling others to develop their full potential.
- To maintain an up to date knowledge of clinical research findings and make proposals for changes to clinical practice in light of these
- To maintain accurate, timely and relevant clinical records both written and computerised. To maintaining the safe custody of healthcare records.
- On going professional leadership within the multi-disciplinary team creating and supporting a culture of learning and development.
- To provide clinical and managerial supervision within the team to maintain competency, ensure performance targets are achieved and deliver best quality care to patients and their families
- To support clinical staff in offering training and consultation to services
