Business Development Manager

£50k - £60k + 50% bonus and Car Allowance

Bookmark are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for a Healthcare supplier. This market leader supply a range of Health, Wellbeing and Protection products with the Business Development Manager focusing on the medium sized corportatebusiness market across the Midlands and North.

The new business development manager will operate within the Health, Wellbeing or Protection markets and will demonstrate a track record of consistently delivering results by developing relationships with senior stakeholders and strong commercial negotiationskills to win new business and will be responsible for;
- You'll work closely with the Telephone Account Manager for the region to develop and implement a regional strategy to maximize every opportunity and drive revenue against agreed targets in a field based sales environment.
- Be highly competent in understanding and interpreting a client’s needs and requirements and be able to present our corporate health & wellbeing products with clarity and conviction
- Understand and be comfortable operating in a regulated field sales environment
- Using the CRM system effectively to manage the sales pipeline and ensure that you are proactively nurturing all new business opportunities along in a timely manner
- Maximising every opportunity to drive sales from attendance at conferences, trade shows and worksite events hosted by employers to increase brand awareness and scheme take-up.

Key requirements
- Previous experience within a field based business development role with evidence of consistently exceeding targets, and the ability to build and influence external relationships at all levels including stakeholders at a senior level.
- Tenacious, resilient and confident person with excellent interpersonal, communication and objection handling skills.
- Knowledge and passion for the health & wellbeing sector and the ability to effectively articulate how these propositions can benefit corporate employers
- A committed self-starter who is target driven and motivated to excel Ability to work efficiently and on own initiative to prioritise your own workload, recognising that the role will require high energy and adaptability

The role is fully remote with the need to need to get the office a couple of times a month and there is need to travel across the Midlands and North to meet customers and attend events etc.
