**The Opportunity**

We have the opportunity for you to join our team as a Warehouse Trainer to work Night Shift - any 5 from 7 Nights (20:30 - 05:00) delivering timely training for all warehouse colleagues within a fast paced environment, balancing training and service to our customers. You will be the expert on all training required to maintain the business accreditation & also the expert on all training that supports excellent Health & Safety within the Warehouse. some of your responsibilities include
- Responsible for providing a consistently high level of technical skills training to support the operations area through a variety of delivery methods.
- Working with the Shift Managers and People Coordinator (Training) ensuring that that all training is completed and recorded in line with company policy
- Responsible for ensuring the on-going competence of all MHE operators through the delivery of refresher training, recorded work place assessments and where appropriate other training following the identification of unsafe practices or following accidents / incidents
- Deliver all MHE training as required to the correct standard
- Review the gap analysis of the training matrix and ensure the training is completed with the support of the Training coordinator within the people team.
- Must support an environment of learning and development of skills across the site to reduce the risk of health and safety / food safety issues.
- Keeps up to date with all training, attending refresher courses when required.
- Following on from further training and induction you will be expected to promote and develop the Learning and Development culture within Samworth Brothers Supply Chain. This includes the comprehensive onboarding of new starters, updating company documentation.

**The Right Person**

- Flexibility, Punctuality, Reliability
- Good communication skills
- Basic English and Maths skills (spoken and written)
- Warehouse Experience and 3 years experience in MHE training (preferred but not essential)
- A recognised MHE instruction qualification
- A good knowledge of MHE regulations
- Health & Safety qualification (preferred but not essential)
- SBSC working environment is a fridge environment
