Our Outpatients Department currently has an opportunity for a Patient Support Administrator.

As a Patient Support Administrator, you will be patient facing as well as booking appointments, answering the phone, dealing with patient and consultant queries, processing referrals in a timely manner, organising clinic files ready for consultant clinics, working within a team, liaising with other departments and being the first point of contact for patients on arrival.

To succeed as a Patient Support Administrator, you will need:

- Excellent communication skills
- Be a team player
- Methodical
- Organised
- PC literate including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Hospital inhouse systems
- Be able to work flexible hours between 8am-8pm.

**About Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital**

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.

We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
